I had a knee replacement at Northern General, Huntsman 3. The consultant and staff were good. But the information sharing could have been better, as could the pain control. I was frightened because of a previous experience in 2002, whereby the hospital cleanliness was not up to scratch, this improved by my next stay in hospital.
Staff were more attentive and treatment was better in care and in the personalities of staff.
I would like to thank my consultant, Dr. Jamuk and the nurses, Simon, Edward, Joanne and Meryl were excellent.
