What I liked

My son underwent an operation and stayed overnight in the Tree Top Ward. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They work extremely hard in what I imagine are very difficult circumstances.

What could be improved

The discharge process was quite lengthy, we waited from 11am to 2.30pm for a doctor to sign the release notes. When you are waiting to go home 5 minutes can seem an eternity, it would have been better had we been told it could take a few hours to get the discharge letter.

Anything else?

Thank you to all the staff you do an excellent job and you're probably not told often enough. Thank you also for arranging a visit from the Sunderland players.
