"Partial Knee Replacement"

About: The Great Western Hospital

I had a partial knee replacement done at the start of December and found the staff from the anaesthetic team to the nurses on Aldbourne ward who I kept asking for ice for the swelling to be really kind and helpful. The surgeon was fantastic as they saw me a few times during my stay to reassure me that the operation went okay as my whole leg was black and blue and swollen. Six weeks on and the operation has given me a new lease of life and cannot thank the surgeon, the team and the nurses enough for giving me back my life.
