"Wonderful care for my father"

About: Southmead Hospital

My father was admitted last week and sadly died on Monday.

The care of the Acute Medical Unit can not be faulted. The staff were attentive, informative and kind. They always treated Dad with respect and as an individual. They came and answered questions and were sensitive to the family's needs. My Dad had hoped he could have come home but it was not to be.

It is a great comfort to me that he got the best care possible in his last days. Thank you.

Dear Anonymous – I was sorry to learn of your sad loss; please accept my condolences on behalf of the Trust. Thank you for taking the trouble at this distressing time to post your thanks to the staff who cared for your father in his last days. I am pleased to note that their care was a comfort to the whole family at such a difficult time. I have passed on your message to those involved.
