I came to A&E on Sunday 6th December 2015 and was admitted to 8B North to have an emergency operation which took place on Tuesday 8th.I had a bowel operation and was not discharged until 16th December. During this time I received a lot of medical care most of which was excellent. I would like to thank all the doctors and team for every thing they did for my care. I would also like to mention that 8B North during my stay had some very caring agency staff that provide a very valuable contribution to the nursing team and maybe the hospital should think very seriously about employing them as a permanent part of the team.Thank you all for your great care.On the permanent team on the ward there were a few special staff that also make a great contribution to the well being of their patience and I would like to thank them as well. Things that could be improved are lockers as there were none ( I was bed 2). Night times could be quieter and lights could be turned off earlier.
