"The hospital was very efficient ..."

What I liked

The hospital was very efficient and clean - some arears do need renovation. Surgery was arranged for 10 days after my visit (cant get more efficient than that..)

What could be improved

Aftercare etc. seems to be only provided on a leaflet to take away - no one seemed to be interested in explaining too much about the operation until I had to sign consent (which was about 3 hours prior to operation).

I never new that I would get physiotherapy / occupational therapy until 14 days after surgery and then unfortunately the consultant forgot to put in a request, so OT didnt know about me until a month after surgery.

Anything else?

This is my first experience of Surgery and I am very impressed by the aftercare (if only I knew about it prior to surgery?)

I realise that the hospital treats a large number of people on a daily basis and with that the minor problems I had are not really problems (just points to note).
