"Excellent care and service at Epsom and St Helier"

To whom it may concern,

I'm writing to express my pleasure at the outstanding speed, service, and looking after I've l received at both Epsom and

Helier hospitals. From being admitted into A&E in Epsom last Monday the 11th, I was seen, treated and discharged within 2 hours which I feel is very reasonable considering the pressure that the NHS is currently under. I then had a follow up consultation on Thursday morning where it was discovered that the fracture was worse than first thought and an operation was needed; I was called by the St Helier trauma coordinator that afternoon and was booked in for an operation the following day.

The time was confirmed by by phone early on Friday morning and upon arrival I was seen quickly, went into surgery within 2 hours and was discharged early Saturday (16th) morning.

On every visit I was seen and looked after quickly, efficiently, kindly and politely. From the doctors and nurses to the tea boy and cleaners, everybody in both hospitals seemed relaxed, friendly, and went about their business with a smile and a pleasant word. I felt that I was well looked after at every stage and that every staff member had been trained and encouraged to give great customer service and create a good environment to work and be treated. Congratulations to the staff at Epsom and St Heliers hospitals, while I hope not to be back for a while I'm sure I'll be well looked after if I am.
