About: Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital

I had an op on Friday morning and literally got kicked out on Saturday afternoon. My surgeon was fantastic. The hospital staff didn't know weather they were coming or going. I got offered pure orange with my food and loved it. My daughter brought me some in and a nurse said I'm not allowed pure orange even though they had been giving it?? Nurse took catheter and pack out and was really rough then left me to sort my self out as they put it. 6 hours later still hadn't come back to check my urine!! The nurse told me I had to have de caff coffee as the other would make me woozy so my daughter went and brought some and hot water in a flask as all seem too much trouble to ask for a Cuppa and when a nurse came in later I asked when I would be allowed to have caffeinated coffee again and they thought it was weird that I had been told I couldn't have it as they had never heard of anything so daft?? My evening meal got cancelled as they thought I had gone home already! Such bad care and lack of communication between nurses and patients. Would never recommend this hospital and would never use it again!!
