TGH - you are amazing in your total incompetence! On 17 December you seemed totally incapable of transferring Dad out of TGH for 9 days.
Guess what, now we are back in the same situation - for 8 days... I have now flown back from Ireland so I can nag your staff to sign forms to release Dad to rehabilitation. On Monday 11 January, you signed him off as 'medically fit' and able to go. Last night, we finally got the forms signed by doctors, Head nurse on Ward 42 and OT.
On Monday morning, I will be back in TGH trying to get your Hospital Social Services to fill out their forms....
No wonder A&E are criticised so badly - they can't admit patients to wards because those wards are full of people waiting to be discharged??
And once again, Dad is lying in a bed with less than zero care and attention - no medical input, no physio, not seen by a dietician (even though he has eaten nothing and lost approx 3st), no proper fluids checks (despite having renal failure 8 weeks ago)......somebody needs to close TGH, put procedures and processes into place and then reopen it.
"You have done it again....!!"
