With a long history of back pain and inflexibility and a diagnosis of L1,2 and 3 degeneration , I have received treatment at various locations. Most recently, an expert at the excellent Mount Vernon Hospital referred me to Northwick Park for physio. 3 brief encounters, then refererral to a so-called fitness class in a church hall. Totally inappropriate! It was more like circuit training than any kind of therapeutic programme. Very damaging indeed. I almost collapsed, sustained painful injury to my left knee. Of course, i did not go back after the first session; enough is enough.
"Unprofessional, inappropriate and damaging"
