Response from The Queen Elizabeth Hospital

Thank you for your comment about patient hygiene, it is very important to us that our patients feel well cared for whilst in the hospital. Assisting patients with their personal hygiene is an integral part of daily care for our nursing staff. It is vital to our person-centred approach to ensure dignity at all times. Any patients who need help with personal care are assisted and our regular care rounds allow us to ensure all needs are addressed.

I would appreciate it if you could contact me directly to tell me which ward you experienced this situation, so that I can discuss it directly with the ward management team concerned.
