I came into the hospital for a lumbar puncture. I was terrfied and scared. However, I had a wonderful nurse. They were kind, soothing and had a great level of experience and expertise carrying out the procedure. They called me through the whole procedure before and during it, they talked to me during the procedure to take my mind off things. My lumbar puncture was straight forward and they managed to get straight into the sight and I felt no pain.
I cannot recommend the hospital or the staff, especially the nurse, highly enough.
