Told back pain was common and that many people would suffer from the disease and not be bothered by it. Well that common disease meant that I was in traction for months, left wearing a plaster jacket and having to sleep on a paster bed. So it was just what I wanted to hear.
I felt that I was not listened to and was not involved in the decision process in any meaningful way.
I am so lucky that I have such a good GP.
