"Needs Vast Improvement."

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

I had my son by C section September 2015. The care in the community was excellent as was the care and professionalism of the theatre staff on the day he was born.

However the treatment, or should I "say lack of it" from midwives on the ward for the two days I endured there afterwards leaves a lot to be desired.

They were rude and arrogant and apart from one all had very bad attitudes and were reluctant to help! The terrifying aspect of all of this was the fact they had completely forgotten to give me the blood clotting injections that were essential after having such a procedure. On the day I was discharged (at 7.30 am) we were left waiting on the ward for 15 hours (until 10.30 pm) for a doctor to let me go home.

During my pregnancy I also saw 6 different consultants, all of whom gave me completely different information with regard to the hospitals policy on VBAC births!

I had a previous C section with my first child at a different hospital and the care was second to none!

This hospitals maternity services need serious review!
