"Thanks to all midwives on the ward on 20 11 09"

About: Rotherham Hospital / Maternity care Rotherham PCT

(as the patient),

I went to the hospital on 15/11/2009 I was told I was 1cm and sent home the next morning. I was getting pains all week so on the Friday, I decided to go back as I knew something wasn't right and these pains were really hurting. I was still only 2cm the ward was really busy. They put me on monitor and my babies heart beat had stopped. I got scared but thankfully the midwife found this heartbeat again. By 12am, I was getting strong pains and my little boy was born naturally at 9.37. My husband deleivered him, he came as soon as my waters went and the midwife had just left the room. He weighed 5lbs 13oz. I would like the thank all the midwives that cared for me during my stay. Thanks. xxxx
