"compassionate care"

About: St Thomas' Hospital (London)

I was extremely impressed with the care I received. The staff were so considerate, and seemed to genuinely care about my well-being. Everyone I encountered from the HCA who gave me a pair of socks after noticing how clearly unprepared I was for hospital stay. To the ward clerk who got me a gown and a blanket as I sat there shivering when the gown my nurse promised they would get never arrived.

The biggest thank you to the Student Nurse, who cared for me on Evan Jones Ward on the 1st of November 2015, they took me as a sister and ensured my stay was as comfortable as possible.

My only criticism would be the volume at which staff communicated with each other, be mindful of it. I could hear everything that was being discussed about me, and of course others could too. It didn't bother me too much, but I would have preferred it not happen.
