Excellent treatment by all staff concerned with my surgery and after care.

All staff were polite, caring and extremely efficient. It was obvious that there is team spirit and respect amongst all staff on duty on the ward. I was impressed by the senior leaders treating their nursing team with respect.

The food was most satisfactory.

Unfortunately I was surprised by the poor standard of sanitary cleanliness in all toilets. No cleaning was carried out after 6pm on 22nd, according to the records on the doors.

Fortunately I had antibacterial wipes, so I was able to clean the wash basins and loo seats before and after my use.

Noticing the very good updating of the toilet facilities on the ground floor entrance of the hospital, will improvements take place elsewhere?

Positioning of sanitary furniture could be better planned for conveniences and safety !
