We recently had a baby girl at Preston Sharoe Green Unit, where we used the Maternity Ward, Birth Centre and Delivery Suite.
This was our first child and as with any expectant parents venturing into the unknown, there is always a great sense of apprehension. As soon as we arrived at the hospital the service we received was amazing, right up until the moment we left. Every midwife and doctor that we encountered was friendly, approachable, caring and comforting. There was nothing they wouldn't do to put us both at ease, from running baths, making tea & toast and even putting up a bed for the night! The high level of attention to the baby's condition really put your mind at rest. There is no element of doubt that it would have been a whole different experience if it wasn't for the great staff that looked after us through the whole labour.
I would thoroughly recommend Preston hospital as the facilities are great and the staff are second to none. I can honestly not praise the people enough.
"Fantastic experience, credit to the NHS!"
