"Care at Wisdem centre UCHW"

About: University Hospital (Coventry) / Diabetic medicine

(as the patient),

I would like to offer my personal take on care at the wisdem centre at the University of Coventry Hospitals Warwickshire. Overall I found my experience to be very positive, the level of care has been excellent on all occasions, admittedly on the odd occasion there has been on overrun of the clinic times but given the amount of people that it has to see on the day-to-day basis this is neither surprising or to be honest a cause for concern. you cannot run a medical service like bus timetable is simply does not happen. The level of professionalism for the condultants has been quite frankly exemplary, I cannot find any fault or negative experience with anybody I've seen either with regards to my diabetes or hypertension. The nursing staff and administration staff are professionals in their own right and again an excellent level of service. It is just a pity that this level of service cannot be offered at the more local level as I live 1. 5 miles away away in the Coventry area so I have to travel to the hospital using the local buses, but it is an invaluable service and it clearly has a massive impact on the lives of the people that it treats and I hope it goes from strength to strength and builds on the success it has had to date.
