I want to thank Mr Saghir and all his team, the amazing nursing staff on HDU, ward 16 & 14 for taking care of my 85 year old mother so extraordinarily well.

Diagnosed with a 10cm kidney tumour, she underwent a radical open nephroctomy. Just five days later she is sitting here at home, as well as can be.

Mr Saghir's person centred approach was phenomenal, every nurse and healthcare support worker kind, professional. I am so grateful to each of them for making my dearest and most precious mum better. Thank you all, and thank God for our wonderful NHS

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about the recent experience that your mother has had whilst in our care.

Despite this being a very difficult time for your mother and yourself I am delighted that you found the care and treatment received to be ' extraordinary'. Patient centred care and treatment is core to our trust values

I will share your 'story ' with the teams involved in the your mother`s care as I know that they will be delighted to hear this.
