"My child was seen quickly in the ..."

About: Harrogate District Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

My child was seen quickly in the E.D. The childrens ward where he was transfered was bright and decorated with child friendly artwork. The ward provides food for breastfeeding mums which was very helpfull as i felt unable to leave my child.

What could be improved

Children's nurses in the ED as those who cared for my child seemed farid of him and unsure. They were not knowledgable of children's illnesses. Rude np on the children's ward. Nurses on the children's ward ignored me wen i came to ask for help, it seems chatting to there collegues about sat night is more important!
