"The staff did not listen to our concerns"

(as a parent/guardian),

In my opinion, a family member did not receive the correct level of care or correct medication for their psychotic condition. They became very unwell, so had to stay in hospital for a considerable amount of time. It's my impression, they did not have up to date medical records. The staff did not listen to our concerns and still did not re-introduce the correct medication. I feel that the staff on the ward are quite unapproachable, often choosing to remain in their locked office on the ward during visiting times.
