"lack of support"

About: Wakefield House

(as a parent/guardian),

When I contacted this service raising concern about a family member under their care, they did not take on board or act upon the concerns raised, they did not return phonecalls, they did not listen to the family member who also asked for help. Some home visits lasted less than 5 mins when medication was given on the doorstep, I do not consider this to be appropriate or fulfilling the reason of a home visit. In my opinion, the service received from Wakefield House was diabolical

Dear David and Goliath

Thank you for your posting explaining your concerns. We would very much welcome the opportunity of discussing the issues you have raised.

May we suggest that you telephone either our PALS (Patient Advice & Liaison Service) on 01925 664450 or staff at Wakefield House on 01925 666660. If you do telephone Wakefield House please ask to speak to either the Team Manager or their deputy who will listen to your concerns.

With kind regards
