"Tolworth hospital parking!"

About: Tolworth Hospital

(as the patient),

Although there seems plenty of areas to park, there are only 2 payment machines at the entrance to the hospital. This we found out after spending a good 10 minutes looking for a pay machine! We also realised you pay as you come in but this is not at all clear. We did eventually see the sign but needs to be bigger and bolder.... STOP PAY HERE BEFORE YOU PARK! I'm sure it would be simpler to have payment machines elsewhere or move those two! !

Also there is no indication on the hospital map/info about this either.

We also found that hospital staff who work/live have to pay too!

On a more positive note the parking price is very fair compared to some places! Another way to solve the problem is to state info on the appointment letter, it mentions parking charges so just need to add a reminder to pay at entrance before you park! !

Dear Anmol,

my name is Jane and I am one of the Patient Experience Leads for the Trust. I am very sorry to read about your experience at Tolworth Hospital and appreciate how frustrating it must have been for you when you were unable to locate a ticket machine.

I have passed your comments onto our Facilities Manager for her information and for consideration as to what steps could be taken to rectify the situation.

I would like to thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback, if there is anything further you would like to discuss or any concerns you wish to raise then please contact the Patient Experience Team on 0203 513 6150 who will be happy to assist.

Kind regards

Jane
