One of our two year old twin boys woke up in extreme distress with severe breathing problems late on Christmas Eve. We called an ambulance which arrived very quickly. The paramedics were fantastic and clearly explained everything that they were doing and why, in a caring and reassuring manner throughout. He continued to receive excellent care on arrival at a&e. We were given clear information and advice when leaving and thankfully his breathing difficulties (due to croup) had quickly resolved due to the actions of the paramedics and the nurse and doctor at a&e.
We then had to return to a&e with his brother, on 29/12/15. Once again, the service we received was excellent and the nurse on duty was extremely helpful. He was then admitted to children's ward for a short time, to manage his breathing difficulties (viral induced wheezing).
Thanks so much to everyone who helped our little boys over the busy Christmas period, you are all doing an amazing job!
"Outstanding care and service"
