"Excellent service and treatment"

I attended A & E at this hospital with my twin sister following a phone conversation with the NHS 111 telephone service. They recommended that an ambulance was called to attend to my sister at home. Following this, the attending Ambulance Crew recommended that she be seen at hospital. From the minute we entered A & E, we were given the most excellent and respectful treatment. It was clear that the whole team working there were highly motivated and Senior Sister was amazing-the most unflappable woman I have ever encountered. All the nurses and the doctor that attended to my sister's needs were excellent, caring, and highly respectful. I felt 100% confident in the staff that were helping my sister. One of the nurses was kind enough to make us both a cup of tea which was a lovely touch as I was understandably concerned about my sister. It is experiences like this that make me so proud of our wonderful NHS and also proud to British as our system is fantastic because of the selfless dedication of the staff that work in the NHS system. No wonder it is the envy of the world!

Should I ever have the misfortune to have to be admitted to Stepping Hill A & E with chest pain myself, I would feel 100% confident that I would receive the best service and treatment. All the staff on duty last night should be utterly proud of themselves for the work they did for me and my sister last night. You are all an absolute credit to the NHS!
