About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

My GP requested blood work before the busy Christmas Holiday. I was quite hesitant to go before the holiday season, as I figured it would be a mad-house and I would be waiting ages.

Ready for a long wait, I came armed with a large book and some water, so imagine my surprise when roughly ten minutes later my name is called!

The nurse was friendly and quick who took the bloods- very impressed!

Even the staff at the Customer Help desk was friendly- a refreshing change when so often you get grumpy, over-worked individuals in hospitals. Bravo!

Although the phlebotomy (blood testing) services at our hospitals, including the New QEII, are now provided by a separate NHS organisation called the Pathology Partnership, we are pleased that you felt you got looked after so well.
