About: Heartlands Hospital

(as the patient),

I've been a patient at Heartlands Hospital many times because of my life long cystic fibrosis illness. On every stay I am visited by a volunteer with the Art Cart. It's always a relief to not only have some arts & crafts to occupy my mind but to also have a chat with Sharon the volunteer who's always happy to spare a few minutes with me & each of the other patients. I instantly feel calm. The Art Cart is a wonderful idea, it eases away my anxiety. I'm sure to be in hospital again soon & look forward to another visit from the Art Cart.

Thank you so much for your feedback regarding the Art Cart service to our patients.

I am delighted that you find it helpful to have some arts and crafts to keep you occupied during your stay, helps you to feel less anxious about being in hospital and also that Sharon the volunteer is always friendly and supportive to you and other patients.

I will highlight your feedback to Sarah McGrory, Arts Manager who will be thrilled to read your comments, and will also ensure that it is communicated to Sharon and the Arts Team.

I do hope this is acceptable and once again thank you for providing your comments, patient feedback is very important to us.
