I had a quintuple (5) bypass on 8th June 2015.
I checked into ward 30 on sun 7th and was operated on the folowing day expecting 3 grafts. Woke up properly on tues with 5 grafts. Spent time between the hdu and icu until thurs when i returned to ward 30 going home on the sunday.
I cannot find the words to thank each and every member of the team for my care. When I think of their dedication and devotion to patient care it honestly brings tears to my eyes and makes me feel so humble and grateful. Thank you so so much each and every one of you for saving my life. I am married to my childhood soulmate with three great kids and four fantastic grandkids. I can now watch them grow up. I am looking after myself going to the gym which we have at work doing three miles four times a week on the treadmill and feel great. You have changed my life. I owe you all so much.Jim Turner
