On New Year's Eve I came into hospital via a&e where I was seen to immediately as I was very poorly. The nurse I had was so great and lovely and really cared about their patients. I seen promptly and admitted within an hour.
B2 staff were fantastic with me as I was in a lot of discomfort and unable to move easily. They helped me when needed to and every time I rang the bell they were with me in minutes.
The laurels however the ward itself is nice in the fact that it's small bays, however the staff let it down they were slow I had to wait 2hrs for pain relief from pressing the buzzer which is unacceptable the staff were grumpy, uncaring bar one hca who one day will make a great nurse, and the older nurse who seemed to care but was rushed off their feet. I think changes need to be made on there in order to get off that ward I made out I was well enough to come home when in fact I'm not.
"B2 fabulous but laurels terrible"
