What I liked

I would like to express my thanks to all the staff on Ward A5 , who looked after me during my short 5 day stay stay in December 2009.

Having reached the age of 56 before having an over night stay in hospital , and although I treat 90% of media reports as either drivle or biased in on way or another , I was never the less a little concerned as to what I would be facing , epecially after the recent shock horror NHS stories .

However I found the staff on A5 , medical , and "laity" to be both professional and caring and the food was both tasty and hot !

A special thanks to a few and the student who seemed to be aligned to my care .

What could be improved

Given that this is a very busy hospital serving many patients , I feel the only improvement I could ask for, is that the standards I encountered, and witnessed within my 6 bed ward, are maintained for other patients and my evidence gained during my short stay, would seem to indicate they there are no reasons to believe that they wouldn't be.

Anything else?

The experience I encountered has certainly removed any fear I may have in the future, about receiving medical care under the NHS in general and Warrington hospital in particular.
