About: Birmingham Hospice – Erdington

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

It was helpful having someone to talk to about my bereavement. My counsellor was very empathetic and I felt I could open up to her. It was helpful that she was so nice.

There were not many people I could talk to about my bereavement so it was a very valuable service for me.

We believe in supporting not just the person we are caring for but also their friends and family. We know how devastating it can be to lose someone you love and our Well-Being Team aims to help ease this process as much as possible.
