"staff more interested in texting while reading..."

About: Heartlands Hospital

My father in law was transferred from walsall manor with persistent nose bleed..he was left to sleep in his own clothes all night....no sanitary items were given him till we could visit....when enquiring about tissues for his nose the nurse pulled some from the dispenser in the toilet and stated they only have one delivery a week so he will have to wait...the next nurse came with an ECG machine and whilst reading instructions on how to use it continuously pulled their phone from their pocket to read text messages...if these so called nurses cannot act civil or complete their job competently then no wonder the NHS is in such a state as it is...Walsall manor receives poor reviews but personally i think he is more safer in there
