On 26th December, my father had to be admitted to Worcestershire Royal. From when he arrived at A&E, the service he got was very good. Both the nurse and A&E registrar checked him out from top to bottom and kept us all informed of what was going on. Unfortunately due to his severe chest infection and other things he had to be admitted to Severn Unit. Once again the staff on Severn Unit were caring and showed commitment to their patients. The whole time he was there he was looked after and both myself and my mother were kept fully informed what was going on, and what progress he was making along the road to recovery. Happily by 31st the various infections he had, had been fully treated and he has now been transferred to the GP community ward at Kidderminster.
So once, again, I do not understand how this hospital keeps getting bad ratings and review, when in out case it was nothing but fist class service from arrival at A&E to transfer to Kidderminster.
