"Good experience of A&E at GRH"

Many years ago I attended A&E at GRH and it was not pleasant so when I was referred from our local hospital to GRH I was prepared for poor service.

I could not have been more wrong! The first experience was the receptionist who was cheerful, courteous and efficient.

I was seen quite quickly and the nurse who met me was also kindly and efficient. The doctor was again friendly helpful and thorough. They referred me to have an X-ray and yet again the radiographer was kind, friendly and proficient. Other nurses came to take bloods or gain further information and all were kind and efficient.

Eventually I was given the treatment I needed and discharged but I'm sure the kind treatment was as helpful as the physical treatment.
