I was seen by a Doctor on the night/morning of 19th/20th December with a horrible wound to my lip caused by a punch - as I am 65 years old, it wasn't caused by a teenage brawl but by a so-called friend.
It was initially thought I would have to attend East Grinstead the following day. However due to the doctor's skill in stitching me, I am thrilled that rather than being scarred for life as I initially thought, my wound is now just a slight scar and after only 2 weeks.
I would like to extend my extreme gratitude to this doctor for their confidence and ability to stitch me so saving me a trip to another hospital.
