"Fantastic pre and post natal care"

I was admitted to the hospital well before my due date with suspected pre-eclampsia. It turned out to be quite severe and resulted in almost immediate induction, very close monitoring and a stay in hospital. I can't begin to explain how fantastic every member of staff in the hospital was. Despite the severity of the situation, both myself and my family were made to feel reassured and in very safe hands throughout the whole process. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly. I was cared for by numerous people throughout the stay due to staying on almost every ward the maternity department has and every single one was fantastic. This included all of the doctors, nurses, Midwifes and also the junior doctors and student Midwifes who were brilliant. There were some members of staff from the research team and high dependency unit who took care of me and my baby for longer periods who were a true credit to the hospital and I can not thank them enough for the exceptional care I was given. An experience which could've been truly traumatising due to the danger myself and my baby faced as well as the sudden induction was made into a positive experience purely due to the care I recieved. Thank you very much to all staff, your extrememtly had work and dedication is very much appreciated!!!
