Unfortunately I have had to use the services of a number of departments at the hospital.
In the face of negative results from tests, dogged persistence by the doctors resulted in finding a pituitary tumour, which probably saved my sight.
(At the time the hospital was receiving bad press; I was 'enjoying' excellence that was diametrically opposite to the negative reports in the column I was reading.)
Casualty patients are dealt with professionally - there are delays but we know that there will be ebb and flow as patients turn up at random.
The fracture clinic deals in a professional friendly manor to treat and reassure,
Plaster clinic staff are king supportive and helpful.
X-ray staff are so helpful and accommodating, always willing to explain/inform.
My son is receiving excellent care from the extremely friendly, competent staff in the orthodontists.
All the reception staff I have dealt with are very helpful.
Urology tomorrow! I will let you know, 16 years ago I found that there was a tangible negative atmosphere in the hospital.
Most staff were working hard but seemingly under duress; cleanliness was dire in places.
Great turnaround Maidstone. Well done.
