What I liked

I was very pleased with the organisation and cleanliness of the Longton day case unit. The staff were lovely who cared for me during my staff. I was made to feel at ease by everyone who cared for me and was impressed by the friendliness of the unit.

Anything else?

I was however very disappointed that my husband was unable to accompany me during my stay on 14.12.09. I can understand that there are rules in place within the NHS but I did not think that it was fair that a lady a couple of beds from me was able to have her husband with her before and during her operation when I was told I couldn't. I think that one rule should be enforced for everyone and I look forward to hearing your response about why this incident took place because I really feel it would have helped me if my husband had been allowed to be present during my stay.
