Unfortunately my ageing Mother-In-Law had the misfortune to have a fall on Boxing Day. A&E were overwhelmed by the amount of patients attending on Boxing Day with over four hours wait to see a Doctor.
This at a hospital whose Trust decided in their wisdom to close the A&E department at the sister hospital Chase Farm.
