"Excellent care, from excellent people"

The staff at the Freeman never failed to constantly impress me. Their knowledge and their attention to detail is second to none, and the genuine care being delivered to the patients is without doubt the best I have ever experienced.

Eight weeks, most of it on Ward 12, was enough for me ! But, the doctors and nurses made the stay bare-able by simply being attentive and caring. From the people doing the cleaning duties, to the people serving the food, to the nurses and caregivers on the ward. From the Physiotherapists, to the doctors, to the phlebotomists, and the porters .. they all performed their jobs with enthusiasm, responsibility, and gusto.

I can't say enough about the whole experience, and how impressed I was with the way all members of the Freeman staff conducted themselves. First class care, from first class people .. nothing was too much for them, no moaning, no complaints, just simple A++++ attitudes and wonderful smiles as they went about their business.

Hopefully, I won't need to go back into hospital. But, anyone who is unfortunate to find themselves ill enough to have to attend a hospital should take note and go to the Freeman in Newcastle. The finest establishment designed to care for the sick, and a huge example of how marvelous our very own National Health Service actually is.
