"Day case gastroscopy, excellent..."

I attended Spire Manchester this morning for a day case gastroscopy, I arrived at 7am for admission and was taken straight to my room. One of the night nurses came and clerked me in then another nurse came to introduce themself and do my observations, then another very friendly member of staff came to take my meal order for after the procedure and finally the doctor came to talk to me and get my consent. Everyone was very professional and caring.

Just after 8am I was collected for endoscopy, the staff were very reassuring and consequently I did not require sedation which was great as I wanted to go to work afterward. I returned the room at 8.45 and after a little recovery time I was on my way to work at 9.45am.

It really was excellent.
