"I had recived a letter to make ..."

About: The Great Western Hospital

(as the patient),

What could be improved

I had recived a letter to make an app at the Physio dept. giving two phone numbers for contact, it took me three days of on and off phoning, before someone picked up the phone, on either number, eventually, had an app with Triage nurse, who I must say, was not too pleasant.

Anything else?

My complaint is, I needed to cancel my follow up app. and was faced with the same problem, no one answered the phone, I even rang the switchboard, telling them my problem, they tried to put me through, to no avail. Consequently, I didnt turn up for my app. Which makes the notices surrounding hospital walls re- people not turning up for apps, costing the NHS to lose money, plus other patients unable to be seen earlier, farcical. If there is no one to man the phones, how on earth can are we expected to cancel?
