About: Children & younger people's services / Early Intervention Speech and Language Therapy (Home talk)

(as a service user),

We recently received visits to help our son to expand his speech and vocabulary. After only a couple of visits he was starting to use more words and trying to communicate much more. No after the final session, he is so much more confident in his speech and inhis socialising too.

We have learnt to be more patient and how to help him progress with talking and playing in the future.

We're sure this experience will set him in good stead for his future and would definitely recommend the service. Very professional and friendly, thank you.

Thank you so much for this feedback about the Home Talk service. We really do try hard to provide the best possible support we can. It is great to hear your son is doing so well. Please do keep in touch with us and let us know how he progresses. There are lots of language development activities available at your local children's centre, so do pop in and see us.
