Attended this hospital for a pacemaker to be fitted. The pre med check given by the cardio nurse was very thorough and the information given to me was very helpful and comprehensive
On the day of the operation was looked after by a student nurse and other nurses ln a thoughtful and caring manner. Nothing was too much trouble. The operation went ahead smoothly with the procedures being explained at every level.The checks for the pacemaker were and the x,ray were carried out speedily and was discharged by 5 p.m.
One week later I rang for help with the wound area and was seen the next day by a nurse and a member of the operations team. Given advice on medication and no infection confirmed. Again the dedication and involvement with the team was outstanding.
Was highly impressed with all the responses from this department.
