"My mother was confused"

Please read my previous posts I did eventualy get the notes on the meeting with Rotherham social services after a number of phone calls but in my opinion it did not truly reflect what was said. Although my mother,her three sons and the medical staff pointed out to the social worker that in our opinion our mother could not cope at home even with four visits a day by home help, we felt the social worker still thought that they knew best.The social services would not move and left my mother in hospital rather than admit they had got it wrong.Hours turned to days and days into weeks.My mother was so confused at just being left in a hospital bed, that in our opinion she just gave up. She stopped eating and just lost the will to live. She died (prematurely in our opinion) 4 days before her birthday. I need to know, was her death due to cut backs by Rotherham Council or is Rotherham social services unfit for purpose? I would like to thank the staff at Rotherham General hospital for trying to convince the social workers she was not well enough to go home alone and the care they showed my mother while she was in hospital. I will not rest untill the people I feel are responsible are made accountable, even if this takes legal action.
