"Dissatisfied service in A&E"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

Hi, I visited West Middlesex University Hospital A&E on last Friday (11-Dec-2015) evening with my Ramsay Hunt Syndrome with Facial paralysis symptoms. A doctor attended me, after preliminary checks and questions for 10 minutes, the doctor asked me to wait in the room and went out for over 20 minutes, come back and told me they spoke to concerns persons on the condition and confirmed it is Ramsay Hunt and they will prescribe medication (I guess the symptoms are clear so no tests required). and the doctor went out again for another 20 minutes keeping me waiting in room which i did not understood why i was simply waiting in room for over 40 minutes...

I have not been provided with proper guidance on my condition and what to watch for while i was using those medicines.

I have been told by doctor that, there will be an follow-up appointment will be booked with ENT specialist and some one will call me on my mobile confirming my appointment. until now i have not got any confirmation on that appointment.

Doctor handed over medicines prescribed to a nurse, after I made payment nurse gave me medicines but could not confidently tell me dosage, there was some confusion on dosage which they had to clarify, also there was one item missing as out of stock which the nurse confirmed me available over the counter so I can buy it in pharmacy, but next day I realized from pharmacy it cannot be sold without prescription.

Considering Ramsay hunt like issues are life changing condition if not treated on time could have issues persists lifelong. i would have expected better care and better responsibility from care providers in handling such cases.
