"Very helpful staff"

I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and had hyperemesis at the beginning of my pregnancy up until about 23 weeks and was admitted many times with dehydration and each time the care I received from the nurses and doctors was great.

Today I notice a reduction in my fetal movement (most of the time he feels like he is trying to escape). I tried everything to get the baby moving but he wasn't having any of it. By 3pm I had worked myself up into such a panic I was so worried something was wrong. I called the triage apartment and spoke to the midwife who managed to calm me down over the phone and advised me to come in straight away to get everything checked. When I arrived I was shown to a room where they hooked me up to a heartbeat monitor that monitors the baby. Literally with 5mins of being hooked up he started moving, as if he was kickboxing inside me. Overall in a space of 30mins he had kicked over 30times and his heartbeat was really good. I felt so stupid as I felt I had wasted the nurses/ midwifes time but they were so reassuring that I had done the right time and it was no bother. I really appreciate the way they made me feel and nothing seemed to much.

I am actually looking forward to the labour as it will be in pumbury and I know I will be in cabiable hands.
