"A visit to the Breast Clinic at Tameside Hospital"

(as the patient),

I was referred to the breast clinic because of a painful lumpy area in my breast and got an appointment within 10 days.

I was examined by a consultant and sent for a mammogram and ultra sound scan which happily showed there was nothing to worry about. Although there were long waits in between consultation and procedures it was so good that everything happened in one place within one day.

I was very impressed by the efficiency and kindness of all the health professionals I encountered and would like to thank them for making this anxious experience pass as smoothly as possible
