"Chest pains and unable to breath"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

A couple of Sundays ago I went to heartlands hospital in absolute agony severe chest pains and unable to breathe. the Dr then kept me sat in a room no decent pain relief and kept me there for 5 hours with out even checking on me. Another patient who was drunk who thought he had hurt his leg (who had had pain killers including gas n air) was put first. when the doctor finally came round he looked at me asked what was the matter and sent me home (Still in agony) with antibiotics for the week.

The room they kept me in was freezing I was dithering and all the nurses I saw could do was sit around and drink coffee! our NHS trust has seriously gone down the pan. I was offered no pain relief no blanket no hot drink to keep me warm nothing.

after waiting 5/6 hours for the DR for him to come to me and guess a prediction on what it could be (as NO tests apart from a blood test was done) I recently received as phone call to say that there are abnormalities in my blood test results. I am fuming that this could not have been dealt with when I originally went in..

I am still in agony with my chest but after waiting that long in a freezing cold room with no care at all I refuse to go back! !
